Main tasks & Responsibilities:
Database Installation and Configuration: Install and configure Oracle database software.Set up database instances, configure database parameters, and manage database storage. Database Maintenance and Monitoring: Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, patching, and upgrades.Monitor database performance and tune the system for optimal performance.Implement and manage database security measures. Performance Tuning and Optimization: Analyze and resolve database performance issues.Optimize SQL queries and database performance. Database Security: Implement and enforce database security policies.Manage user accounts and permissions. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.Generate regular reports on database performance, health, and usage.
