Full Job Description:

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for an Oracle DevSecOps Engineer to join a growing team in support of a government agency. This position will be fully remote.

Responsibilities/Overview:

•Assist in the operation and maintenance of the OCI cloud environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and SRE principles.

• Maintain ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts.

• Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.

• Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all OCI deployments.

• Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to assist with the implementation of cloud architecture best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience. 8 Years of Experience in Lieu of a degree.

• Must be U.S Citizen.

• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance to start.

• Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

o Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban

o Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence

o CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)

o Oracle OCI certified or equivalent years of experience working with Oracle cloud services

o Oracle PeopleSoft and PeopleTools experience preferred but not required.

o Strong knowledge and understanding of Oracle cloud concepts (Compartments, Identity Domains, Dynamic groups, etc.)

o Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm

o PowerShell or Bash Scripting

o Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner

o Terraform, Ansible, Oracle Stacks

o Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow

o Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures

Desired:

• Oracle Cloud certifications desired

• Active Treasury clearance preferred
