About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud – Sr Principal IT Applications Specialist to architect, enhance, and support our global Finance systems landscape. This senior individual-contributor role requires strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Finance, solution architecture, integrations, and financial process optimization.
You will partner closely with Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to design scalable solutions that support our operational excellence, compliance requirements, and future growth.
Job Responsibilities
Design and evolve the end-to-end finance systems architecture across Record-to-Report (R2R), Source-to-Pay (S2P), Treasury, Tax, Financial Planning, and Reporting.Demonstrate deep hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Finance modules (GL, FA, CM, PO, AP, Tax, ICO).Support and/or lead implementations and enhancements of Oracle Fusion ERP systems, including integrations with Finance boundary applications.Architect functional and technical solutions across R2R, S2P, FP&A, Treasury, Intercompany, and Tax business processes.Architect and develop financial and operational reporting using OTBI, BIP, FR, and Narrative Reporting.Support integrations and data flows between Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPM, and downstream analytics/reporting platforms.Experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) is an added advantage.Experience in building AI Agents using Oracle Agent Studio and leveraging AI platforms to build smart assistants for finance teams.Drive future-state design by assessing current processes, identifying optimization opportunities, and defining scalable, automated solutions.Collaborate with integration teams on scalable data flows, system mappings, and API-led designs.Translate complex requirements into functional and technical solution designs.Partner with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with company goals, including close acceleration, compliance, and financial planning readiness.Support statutory reporting for international entities and ensure systems support multi-GAAP requirements.Support internal and external audits for Oracle and boundary systems, managing relationships with business stakeholders and audit teams.Identify, analyze, and resolve issues in existing customizations and extensions. Provide support for new enhancements and troubleshooting assistance.Contribute to project strategy and partner with the team to create and improve methodologies and best practices.Required Experience and Skills
12+ years of experience architecting, developing, implementing, integrating, and/or administering Oracle Fusion Finance Cloud applications.Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Treasury, Cash Management, Purchasing, Payables, and Tax.Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams within IT.Experience with relational databases and query tools (SQL Developer, TOAD).Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.Excellent analytical and research skills.Self-starter with the ability to work independently while adding value in cross-functional environments.Understanding of best practices for geographically diverse and multicultural teams, with the ability to apply effective strategies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with business and technical stakeholders.Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, OTBI, XML, Workflow, AME, customization, and personalization.Gen is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusivity.
