Role Overview

As an Oracle FCCS Senior Consultant , you will be responsible for delivering operational and technical support for Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS). You will work with global clients across industries, ensuring efficient month-end close processes, system optimization, and seamless financial consolidations. You will act as a subject matter expert, bridging business and technology teams to maximize FCCS platform value.


Key Responsibilities


Application & User Support

  • Provide operational and technical support across global time zones.
  • Resolve complex FCCS technical and functional issues using root cause analysis.
  • Support month-end close, consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and compliance checks.
  • Troubleshoot user issues and ensure smooth day-to-day FCCS operations.
  • Mentor junior consultants, conduct training sessions, and develop support playbooks.

System Enhancement & Configuration

  • Manage business rules, consolidation logic, integrations, and reporting configurations.
  • Maintain integration pipelines between FCCS, ERP, and other financial systems.
  • Oversee FCCS security models, user roles, and compliance controls.
  • Ensure synchronization across development, test, and production EPM environments.

Data Integration & Automation

  • Manage and support integrations using EPM Automate, Data Management/FDMEE, Data Exchange, and REST APIs.
  • Monitor and resolve integration errors and data load issues.
  • Implement automation improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Validate financial data accuracy and ensure error-free consolidation processes.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Document technical designs, solution approaches, SOPs, and best practices.
  • Maintain process documentation for admin workflows and operational procedures.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend process improvements.
  • Develop user training guides, job aids, and knowledge resources.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Act as a subject matter expert for FCCS business and technical queries.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize financial consolidation workflows.
  • Lead and mentor consulting teams to meet client deliverables.
  • Work with Oracle Support for issue resolution and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8 years of strong technical and functional experience in Oracle FCCS / HFM .
  • Solid knowledge of financial consolidation, close cycles, and reporting .
  • Expertise in business rules development, consolidation logic, and FCCS reporting .
  • Proficiency in EPM Automate, FDMEE/Data Management, Smart View, and scripting .
  • Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and compliance documentation .
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Accounting , or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle Cloud FCCS Certification.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM Suite: ARCS, PCMCS, EPBCS, TRCS, NR .
  • Exposure to Agile project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience supporting global, multi-entity financial environments .
