Below is a new requirement in the New York office. This is an immediate
need. Duration is 6 months plus.

Oracle / UDB Database Administrator (DBA)

Oracle Technical Requirements:

Hands on Oracle DBA experience in versions 8i, 9i, 10G
Experience in working in a IBM AIX, SAN (EMC) environment
Experience in setting up Oracle database security including row-level
security
Demonstrated ability to automate routine DBA tasks with Shell
scripting.
Experience with backup (hot/cold) and recovery (using TSM)
Advanced knowledge of Oracle DBA tasks (proactive monitoring,
identifying areas that need to be improved in the application or
database).
Experience with tuning OLTP and Warehouse databases including SQL and
PL/SQL.
