Job Description
Our client is looking for a DBA with experience in database technologies and good understanding of SQL/Oracle development.
This is a contract role initially for 6 months with good possibility of extension.
Please note that this role is fully onsite - 4 days per week in London and 1 day onsite in Milton Keynes. Due to nature of the role DV clearance is required. Candidates also need to be eligible for NPPV3 clearance or ideally already hold one.
Essential Experience Required:
* Experience in database technologies and a good understanding of SQL/Oracle development and scripting tools; Oracle DB Architecture, Performance, Database Intallation & Configuration
* Experience in database administration, including back-ups, maintenance, performance monitoring and troubleshooting, security management, patch management
* Experience in implementing high availability setups such as Always on HA, Mirroring, log shipping and Microsoft Clustering.
