Order Administrator/ Customer Service Officer

If you either have experience in a similar role or limited general customer service experience with an eagerness to learn, you could be the new Order Administrator / Customer Service Officer to join our team based in Mulgrave.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a new Order Administrator / Customer Service Officer within a large and growing team where you will become responsible for liaising with customers and internal departments to process customer orders.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively manage customer orders to be aware of inventory or supply issues and communicate any issues with customers and the commercial team in a timely manner
  • Process sales and inventory transactions
  • Create and maintain customer, supplier, and product files in our ERP (JD Edwards)
  • Monitor distribution of product to customers and follow up on sales orders
  • Taking inbound calls to answer inquiries, take orders, and respond to customer needs.
  • Liaise with sales and support staff to keep them up to date on customer needs
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate manager or team when required.
