Rutherford Regional Health System, a Duke Lifepoint Hospital in Rutherfordton, North Carolina (between Charlotte/Asheville) is growing with the addition of an Orthopedic Surgery, First Assist, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to strengthen our established team. Those who are currently practicing or are currently in training can be considered.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Orthopedic clinic. This individual will see patients in our ambulatory clinic and assist our surgeons in the operating room. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in orthopedics, a passion for patient care, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our clinic and surgical teams. An Orthopedic and surgical background is a plus, but not required.

  • Responsibilities : Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Assess and manage preoperative and postoperative care for orthopedic surgery patients. Independently treat patients in the ambulatory facility when not assisting in the operating room.
