Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity – General / Sports / Trauma | Southeastern Louisiana

This is an excellent opportunity to practice a broad scope of orthopedics in a supportive, high-volume environment with outstanding resources and a growing referral base.

Practice Highlights

Hospital-employed position at a 281-bed regional medical center

New 15-bed Ambulatory Surgery Center less than a mile from the practice

Comprehensive surgical facilities:

  • 12 operating rooms
  • 24 pre-op rooms
  • 18 private PACU bays
  • 15 private overnight stay rooms
  • In-house anesthesia, sterile processing, imaging, lab, pharmacy, PT, and food services
  • Collaborative team of 5 Orthopedic Surgeons (generalists, revisionist, sports/shoulder, pediatric)
  • Strong referral network with nearly 100 primary care physicians

    • Compensation & Benefits

  • Guaranteed salary: $600,000–$650,000 (3-year contract, 2-year guarantee)
  • Recruitment incentive bonus: up to $20,000
  • Student loan reimbursement: up to $60,000 over 3 years
  • Relocation allowance: up to $10,000 with receipts
  • CME: 5 days + $3,500 annually
  • Full benefits package, including health, retirement, and malpractice coverage
