About the role
The Occupational Safety and Health Advisor plays a vital role in supporting the Network and Infrastructure Division to implement and improve the PTA’s Safety Management System and ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety legislation. Working collaboratively with employees and contractors, the position promotes a strong safety culture by providing expert advice, conducting audits and investigations, and delivering programs that enhance understanding of safety and health requirements.
Key responsibilities include coordinating WHS initiatives such as R U Ok events and Skin checks, managing communications and committee functions, and undertaking workplace inspections, risk assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and incident investigations.
