Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive OSP Drafting QC Lead Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AutoCAD and ARAMIS , specifically focused on quality control of OSP construction drawings . The ideal candidate must be a go-getter, capable of independently ensuring that all client and market-specific standards are strictly met and delivering error-free drawings within defined timelines.
This role requires a strong eye for detail, excellent analytical ability, and prior experience in delivering construction drawing packages to Tier-1 clients such as AT&T . The candidate must be capable of identifying inconsistencies in fielding/planning inputs, rectifying issues proactively, and ensuring on-time submission and resubmission of packages.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Quality Control (QC) of OSP construction drawings prepared in AutoCAD and ARAMIS.
Ensure 100% compliance with client specifications, market standards, and construction guidelines.
Validate all fielding inputs, as-builts, planning documents, and reference materials for accuracy and completeness.
Review, correct, and finalize OSP construction packages.
Deliver high-quality, error-free files within client timelines.
Submit full construction drawing packages and related deliverables directly to Tier-1 clients such as AT&T .
Track projects from drafting through submittals and client approvals.
Address client comments/redlines and submit corrected packages within 24 hours (mandatory requirement).
Collaborate closely with drafting teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure consistent quality and delivery.
Identify gaps in inputs proactively and escalate issues with proper documentation.
Maintain version control, documentation standards, and QC logs.
Mandatory Skills & Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of OSP Drafting and QC experience.
Strong expertise in AutoCAD and ARAMIS (mandatory).
Deep understanding of OSP outside plant construction standards (aerial, buried & underground).
Prior experience delivering drawing packages to AT&T (mandatory).
Strong research and verification capability to ensure fielding/planning inputs are accurate.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to error-free output.
Ability to meet aggressive timelines including 24-hour correction turnaround.
Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
Preferred Attributes

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience leading or mentoring small drafting/QC teams.
