Exciting Opportunity for Otolaryngologists Seeking Immediate Locum Support
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Otolaryngologist to provide crucial call coverage through a temporary assignment at a esteemed healthcare facility. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact in patient care, work with a passionate team, and enjoy flexible, short-term engagement starting December 11, 2025. Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid medical license in Colorado or eligible for immediate licensing
- Board-certified or eligible in Otolaryngology
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in ENT
- Proficient in inpatient and trauma-level 1 call coverage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-stakes environments
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in hospital-based ENT practice
- Familiarity with trauma protocols and procedures
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus
- Experience with virtual EMR training and credentialing
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- At least 2-3 years of active practice post-residency
- Prior experience in Level 1 trauma settings preferred
Other Requirements:
- Availability for 24-hour call shifts, including holidays as scheduled
- Willingness to stay at designated hotel accommodations with negotiated rates
- Credentialing with a quick turnaround (less than one week preferred)
- Complete pre-application and full application processes promptly
- Submission of Epic experience details, recent usage, and a professional photo
- Valid CO medical license or active IMLC, and required documentation including NPDB report
- Virtual EMR training completion at least one week prior to start date
- No rounding requirements; standard inpatient, trauma-level 1 coverage
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $0.00, with potential for supplemental payments including orientation, on-call, and callback rates as specified.
