Job Description
This role is for someone who has already spent time doing serious outbound work - identifying the right accounts, crafting strong messaging, engaging senior stakeholders, and moving cold conversations toward demo calls in a B2 B Saa S environment.
Because of the market we operate in, outbound at Mile is precise and intentional. Our TAM is focused, our buyers are senior, and our sales cycles are longer, which means good judgment, strong communication, and clarity of thinking matter more than volume.
What you'll do
Own outbound demand generation end-to-end
Work with a refined enterprise ICP , not large unqualified lists
Identify and prioritize the right accounts and stakeholders
Craft sharp, thoughtful outbound messaging across email, Linked In, and other channels
Engage and nurture cold accounts until there is clear commercial intent
Show up on conversations and calls with prospects when needed
Get qualified prospects to show up for demo calls
Hand off qualified opportunities to sales
Own your targets, pipeline contribution, and outcomes independently
This is an execution-heavy, thinking-heavy role - not an activity-driven one.
What we're looking for
2–4 years of overall experience
Strong copy and written communication skills (Outbound lives and dies on messaging quality)
Ability to understand complex, technical products and markets
Comfort selling into businesses with longer sales cycles
Strong verbal communication, comfortable showing up on calls with prospects
Uses AI as a co-worker
Your most recent year of experience should closely match this role, meaning:
You’ve worked primarily on cold outbound
You’ve taken cold accounts to demo calls
Ideally in an enterprise or mid-market Saa S context
What this role is(and isn't)
This is an individual contributor role , not a manager or team lead position
You’ll have autonomy and responsibility , not micromanagement
Outbound here is about precision and relevance , not volume
You’ll be trusted to experiment, learn, and improve your approach over time
Attention to detail matters in this role. As a quick check that you've read the JD, one of the application questions asks you to enter a random number, the number to enter is 7.
