Outreach Tutor (Hexham)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As an Outreach Tutor, you will plan, create, and deliver highly personalised lessons designed to build confidence, engagement, and academic progress. You will play a key role in reintroducing structure into the students day, while also supporting both academic development and life skills. A strong commitment to inclusive education is essential, and experience with communication systems such as Makaton and PECS would be highly beneficial.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
– Location Within the community or students homes in Hexham
– Position: Outreach Tutor (Complex Needs)
– Type of work: Part-time, approximately 15-25 hours per week
– Minimum pay rate: GBP25 per hour
– Hours: Sessions typically 1 to 3 hours long

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
– QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent qualifications
