Job Description
Coinamatic Commercial Laundry is seeking an experienced and technically inclined Outside Sales Representative to help grow our market share and drive revenue by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in the Mississauga and Toronto regions. This role focuses primarily on expanding our presence within the Hotel and Long-Term Care sectors.
The right candidate thrives in a true hunting environment, someone who consistently uncovers new opportunities, manages their calendar effectively, and invests time in face-to-face interactions that drive sales and long-term success. You are energetic, self-motivated, organized, creative, and a proven team player with a strong track record of building and expanding a territory. You will dedicate 90%+ of your time to sourcing and engaging new business.
You will thrive in this role if:
- You are a seasoned hunter. You excel at generating your own leads through cold calling, blitzing, in-person visits, networking, market research, and disciplined territory management.
- You are tenacious. You understand that sales cycles can be longer and require consistent follow up until the client has a need and is ready to move forward.
- You are relationship-driven. You enjoy building rapport with clients and developing strong, long-lasting professional relationships.
- You have exceptional time-management skills. You understand the autonomy of outside sales and can balance prospecting, selling, and account management to drive results.
- You take a customer-first approach. Exceptional service is what sets Coinamatic apart, and you consistently deliver this to current, prospective, and former clients.
- You hold yourself to high standards. Professionalism, presentation, and communication excellence are core expectations for all team members.
- You bring strong technical aptitude. You can confidently discuss equipment-based solutions, installation requirements, system functionality, and utility considerations (water, hydro, natural gas).
Estimated Salary & Compensation
This role offers a competitive base salary aligned with professional outside sales, plus an uncapped commission structure, enabling top performers to earn more than $125K annually. The compensation package also includes a car allowance and a comprehensive health benefits package.
What you will do:
- Develop and establish relationships with new customers; secure new contracts to achieve assigned sales growth targets.
- Prospect for new business using direct methods (calling, site visits, consultations) and indirect methods (networking, referrals, industry events).
- Lead the entire sales cycle—from initial engagement and technical needs assessment to solution development, quoting, negotiation, and closing.
- Manage your territory effectively and strive to exceed personal and organizational sales goals.
- Qualify prospects according to company criteria, ensuring alignment with ideal customer profiles and technical requirements.
- Build and maintain detailed territory plans outlining strategies to meet ongoing sales objectives.
- Track all sales activity daily through CRM and maintain detailed notes on all prospect and customer interactions.
- Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and order documentation.
- Attend team meetings, participate in ongoing training, and continuously develop business and technical skills.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and project execution.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably in technical equipment, machinery, or B2B solution-based sales.
- Basic understanding of equipment systems, operational workflows, installations, and utility considerations (water, hydro, natural gas).
- Strong closing skills and a proven ability to grow new accounts.
- Ability to adapt to various business environments and client settings.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Legally authorized to work Canada.
- Experience with equipment financing is an asset.
