Job Title: Overhaul Business EngineerWorking Pattern: Fulltime, On-SiteWorking location: Atlanta, GeorgiaAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, proactive and delivery driven individual to join our Overhaul Support Team. The Overhaul Business Engineer is a support position within the Service Delivery organization. It is a key resource for the Overhaul Base Manager (OBM) and will interface with the MRO service provider as an embedded resource. The ideal candidate must be able to coordinate many different kinds of operational activities in a diverse technical environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel up to 10% to locations within the US. Support the business relationship through a professional on-site presence and participation in key meetings as required

Support the daily activities of the Overhaul Business Manager (OBM) and global Service Delivery team as required

Support the Project Desk to ensure the status of all assigned engines is known and clearly articulated at all times

Participate in Technical Review Committee (TRC) calls to support work scope development

Assist the global Services Delivery team with Life Cycle Cost reduction activities

Participate in hardware dispositioning, engine system troubleshooting, and failure investigations in support of the MRO service provider

Associate degree with 4+ years of aviation experience, OR

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of aviation experience, OR

Master’s degree, OR

JD/PhD, OR

6+ years of aviation experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Requirements:

Aviation maintenance background with knowledge and understanding of gas turbine maintenance and repair processes and procedures

Familiarity with air worthiness regulations

Ability to prioritize, work independently or in a team environment with a strong customer focus

Ability to develop and maintain relationships with shop personnel

Ability to understand and communicate technical details and solve complex technical issues
