Overview
Our client is currently recruiting for a full time P6 Planner for a major power station construction project near Bridgewater. The role will involve creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work in line with the project schedule and strategy. Duties will include:
Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering project plans in Primavera P6, including detailed fabrication and construction activities
- Developing Work Breakdown Structures, producing manhour take-offs, establishing durations and ensuring series and parallel working have been considered.
- Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards
- Liaising with surveyors and engineers
- Labour resource management and forecasting
- Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders
- Breaking large jobs down into phases of development
