Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to understand their requirements, guiding the development process, and ensuring that the applications meet the necessary standards and specifications. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing solutions that enhance the functionality and efficiency of the applications being developed. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies to ensure that the applications are built using best practices. Roles and Responsibilities: - ServiceNow Customization: Develop and configure SNOW modules. - Troubleshooting: Resolve issues, perform updates, and ensure system performance. - Collaboration: Gather requirements, document solutions, and work with cross-functional teams. - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Scripting: Write JavaScript/GlideScript, create Business Rules, UI Actions, and automate workflows. - Integrations: Implement REST, SOAP, and web service integrations with external systems. - Languages: JavaScript, GlideScript - Modules: ITSM, Service Catalog, Incident, Change, Problem - Integrations: REST, SOAP, MID Server - Tools: Business Rules, Flow Designer, UI Policies Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required. - Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer15 years full time education
