The Packaging designer supports New Product Development and product sustaining tasks for the company’s Global Rack & Edge Thermal products.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**- **Provides technical support and manage the packaging development process
(Creation of packaging designs, prototype development, specification and testing).
- Develop alternative design concept prototypes and CAD drawings using design soware.
- Coordinate the development and verification ISTA testing of alternative designs.
- Create/update BOMs, submit engineering change requests and release the revised designs
in Oracle PLM cloud.
- Understands the products, suggesting ideas and improvements back to group related to design that
optimize for packaging and overall cost.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science in Packaging Science or equivalent experience.
