Packaging Engineer (automotive)

We are looking for Packaging Engineer for our team in Barcelona area to work in one of the most important Tier 1 in the automotive sector .

Missions:

• Design, develop, and implement packaging solutions, including equipment and alternative packaging (cardboard, returnable systems, etc.).
• Define packaging solutions during the quotation phase (type, density, flows, and technical specifications).
• Provide technical support to production, resolving incidents and participating in continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Lead and validate industrialization phases: mock-ups, prototypes, supplier validations, and transfer to production.
• Perform technical and cost analysis of supplier proposals in collaboration with the Purchasing department, validating documentation and specifications.
