Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: East Hanover, New Jersey
Type: Contract
Compensation: $25/Hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 6a-2:30p, M-F
Responsibilities
+ Perform packaging operations according to customer orders and production schedules
+ Operate and monitor packaging equipment safely and efficiently
+ Inspect equipment and perform minor adjustments or repairs as needed
+ Safely handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with plant and environmental requirements
+ Stock packaging materials (pallets, labels, tape, slip sheets, etc.)
+ Maintain housekeeping and a clean work area
+ Meet production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements
+ Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
