Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: Lakewood, New Jersey
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $22.50/hr.
Will train on 1st shift 2-3 weeks
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Summary:
Responsible for the operation of a manufacturing and/or packaging line(s), to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company for an 8 or 12-hour shift. This position reports to directly to Shift Supervisor.
Job Duties
• Tends manual or semiautomatic systems that process chemical substances into industrial or consumer products, such as sealants, adhesives, mortars, primers, and intermediates.
• Loads specified amounts of solid materials into heating/cooling vessels or blending tanks. Turns valves to feed liquid and solid materials through equipment units, or sets controls in specified sequence on control panel to start automatic feed. ...
