Job Description


Prepares products for delivery to customers by packing products in cartons and labeling cartons.

Duties:
  • Sets up the station by receiving packing orders, gathering packing materials, and notifying material handlers of required materials.
  • Approves products for shipment by visually inspecting them for deficiencies.
  • Packs cartons by folding them, following the prescribed arrangement, and placing the product inside.
  • Finishes cartons by sealing openings and affixing shipping labels.
  • Prepares pallets by following the prescribed stacking arrangement and tagging pallets.
  • Maintains a safe work environment by following standards and procedures.
