PACU RN in Arvada, CO

Experienced RNs with PACU and orthopedic surgical unit skills are invited to contribute their expertise in a dynamic 20-bed surgical unit located in Arvada, CO. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on delivering excellent patient care within a specialized orthopedic setting.

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage care for up to 5 patients per shift
• Perform dressing changes and aspirations within the orthopedic surgical unit
• Support pain management strategies tailored to orthopedic and trauma patients
• Collaborate effectively with a dedicated team of nursing professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Registered Nurse with PACU expertise
• Proven experience in a surgical unit setting, preferably orthopedic
• Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills
• Prior exposure to pain management and orthopedic procedures highly preferred
• Positive attitude and strong team player mindset

Schedule:

• Night Shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Contract Type:

• Seasonal contract with travel opportunities
