We are hiring an experienced Paid Search Manager with strong agency experience who has managed multiple client accounts, led teams, and owned search performance end to end.
This role is strictly agency-focused and is not suited for candidates with only in-house or product-only experience .
Role Overview
As a Paid Search Manager, you will independently manage 10–15 active client accounts , lead a team of 2–3 Paid Media Executives , and act as the primary owner of search strategy, execution quality, and performance across platforms.
You will work in a high-volume agency setup , managing multiple stakeholders, budgets, and performance goals simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Account & Strategy Ownership
- Own end-to-end Paid Search strategy for 10–15 client accounts simultaneously
- Build and scale search strategies aligned with client revenue and growth goals
- Drive performance improvements across CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and conversion quality
- Make strategic decisions on bidding models (tCPA, tROAS, Max Conversions, manual where required)
Platform Expertise
- Hands-on expertise across:
- Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube)
- Microsoft / Bing Ads
- Apple Search Ads
- Quora Ads and other intent-driven platforms
- Strong command of Google Ads Editor for bulk operations and account restructuring
- Lead keyword architecture, search intent mapping, match-type strategy, and audience layering
Agency Execution & Scale
- Comfortable working in a multi-client agency environment
- Handle frequent context switching across industries, goals, and budgets
- Manage parallel campaign launches, restructures, optimizations, and reporting
- Maintain execution quality under tight deadlines and performance pressure
Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and review the work of 2–3 junior Paid Media Executives
- Delegate execution tasks and review optimizations before deployment
- Ensure SOP adherence, documentation, and best practices across accounts
Client Communication & Ownership
- Act as the primary client-facing owner for Paid Search
- Lead performance reviews, strategic planning calls, and roadmap discussions
- Clearly communicate insights, test results, and next-step recommendations
- Proactively manage client expectations and escalations
Optimization & Experimentation
- Drive A/B testing on ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, and audience setups
- Collaborate with CRO, design, and content teams to improve conversion performance
- Scale winning strategies while controlling efficiency and volatility
Tracking & Analytics
- Strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking
- Ensure tracking accuracy and data integrity across all search platforms
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- 5+ years of Paid Search experience in a digital marketing agency
- Proven experience managing multiple client accounts (10+ simultaneously)
- Currently or previously working as a Paid Search Manager / Team Lead / Account Lead
- Experience leading and reviewing junior team members
- Strong expertise in search intent, bidding strategies, and account scaling
- Confident in client communication and strategic ownership
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced agency environment
Not a Fit If
- Experience is primarily in-house / product-only
- Exposure is limited to 1–2 accounts
- Role has been execution-only without strategy or client ownership
Nice to Have
- Experience managing high monthly ad spends
- Multi-geo or international client exposure
- CRO and landing-page optimization experience
