Current Physician Assistant license in Arizona (or willing to acquire if relocating)Bachelor's Degree, related field such as biology, chemistry or health sciencesCertification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)Pain management specific certificationsCurrent DEA registration and continuing medical education (CME)2+ years prior experience in pain management, orthopedics or neurosurgeryBLS, ACLS, PALS preferredCME to maintain licenseExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Pain Management Physician Assistant Qualifications
Ability to diagnose and treat new and established patients independently under the supervision of a physicianAverage 28-32 patients per dayPractice in accordance with the state’s laws, rules and regulations.Experienced in electronic medical records (EMR) systemsKeeps and maintains appropriate records relating to all professional services renderedIn-depth knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostics, and treatment protocolsTeam player with a patient-centered approachCommitment to ongoing learning and professional development #post
