The Opportunity

We are excited to expand our team of physicians who are accredited by the Canadian Academy of Pain Management and are currently looking for part-time work.

    • Responsibilities  

  • Provide consultations for veterans and other patients interested in obtaining a medical cannabis prescription 

  • Help educate patients on the use of cannabis as a medicine 

  • Leveraging your experience as a pain specialist to review another healthcare practitioner’s medical cannabis treatment plan

  • Approving the plan when appropriate, and drafting and submitting an Exceptional Coverage Letter advising the insurer that, in your expert opinion, the treatment plan is reasonable and necessary
