The Paint Facility Specialist develops scopes of work and specifications for air handling units, spray booths, sludge systems, paint circulation systems, pretreatment and sealer systems. The Specialist participates in the engineering, designing, installation and commissioning of new equipment. The Specialist will have to be able to challenge and validate contractors' solutions, review air and hydraulic schematics, perform psychometric calculations, and know details concerning equipment components such as fans and pumps. They will be frequently called upon to travel to distant locations to assist plants in trouble shooting problems.
