**Job Title: Prep/Pre-Finish Worker**
**Payrate:** $25 to $30 per hour
**Shift:** 6:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday
**Location:** Everett, WA
**Job Description**
A Prep/Pre-Finish Worker prepares wood, fiberglass, or composite doors, jambs, mouldings, and other millwork components for finishing. This includes sanding, cleaning, staining, painting, sealing, and inspecting materials to ensure they meet quality standards. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to the company’s production workflow.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare doors, frames, and mouldings for stain or paint by sanding, filling, cleaning, and prepping surfaces.
+ Apply stains, paints, sealers, and topcoats using spray guns, brushes, or wiping techniques.
+ Conduct quality inspections to check materials for defects, color consistency, and finish uniformity.
