The Painter is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appearance of port facilities and related structures. This includes surface preparation, application of paint, finishes, and coatings, and ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards. The Painter ensures a clean, professional, and welcoming environment for passengers and staff.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Prepares and cleans surfaces, including metal, concrete, wood, and other materials. Removes old paint, dirt, and debris through power washing or scraping. Sands surfaces and applies primer for optimal paint adhesion. Repairs cracks, holes, and rust on structures and surfaces before painting.
+ Utilizes brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to apply paint and coatings. Maintains tools and equipment in clean, working condition. Mixes paints and materials to achieve desired color and consistency.
