Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: The container Shop Painter is responsible for cleaning, grinding, sanding and painting, small and large containers. The painter may also be required to perform general maintenance to containers and roll-off boxes. The painter will be responsible for applying decals as required. 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prep grind and scrap containers.
  • Washout container if needed before painting.
  • Paint Front load containers/ Rolloffs/ Compactors and all misc. parts.
  • Paint booth Maintenance.
  • Paints repaired containers.
  • Completes required paperwork.
  • Install company and safety decals in accordance with company standard diagram on containers and roll-off boxes.
  • Get front load containers ready for routes.
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
