Paralegal (Start ASAP)

Paralegal role supporting medical treatment liability matters in a dynamic, inclusive insurance law firm in Perth.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Attending the Perth office to assist with management of medical treatment liability matters, including preparing briefs to experts and managing discovery of documents and case management.
• Reviewing, drafting, and filing documents such as court documents, chronologies, witness statements, agreements, and correspondence.
• Reviewing medical records, taxation documents, and other relevant materials to prepare chronologies and summaries of evidence.
• Ensuring timely delivery of work tailored to the matter and relevant issues.
• File management, including diarising and monitoring client deadlines, court timetables/orders, and other important dates.
• Assisting with preparation of routine reports.
• Assisting in managing communications with clients.
