About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Technology Specialist to lead solution design, backend architecture, and DevOps automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in .NET Core, Azure Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, and modern front-end frameworks , with a proven ability to architect, design, and deploy scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Backend Architecture

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of backend systems using .NET Core (C#) .

• Define best practices for modular design, coding standards, componentization , and microservices architecture .

• Create detailed architecture blueprints , technical documentation , and solution specifications .

• Implement RESTful APIs with secure authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2, Azure AD).

2. Azure Cloud Application Development

• Design and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure .

• Utilize services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Azure SQL, Azure API Management , and Blob Storage .

• Implement instrumentation, diagnostics, and logging using Application Insights or equivalent tools.

• Ensure scalability, reliability, performance, and security for production workloads.

3. DevOps, CI/CD & Automation

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions .

• Integrate automated testing, code analysis, and deployment stages in the delivery pipeline.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates or Terraform .

• Drive DevSecOps practices, including secrets management, compliance, and role-based approvals.

4. Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor and guide developers through design sessions, code reviews, and architecture discussions .

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, UI/UX) for successful project delivery.

• Stay current with emerging Microsoft and open-source technologies to continuously improve solutions.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core (C#), Web API, Entity Framework Core , and RESTful services .

• Deep expertise in Azure services (App Services, Functions, SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, etc.).

• Proven track record in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Solid understanding of cloud security, RBAC, performance tuning, and scalability principles .

• Proficiency with SQL Server and relational database integration.

• Front-end experience using Angular, React , or similar frameworks.

• Experience with Docker , containerization , and deployment automation .

• Knowledge of microservices and API Gateway patterns .

Good to Have

• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Event Hubs for messaging and event-driven systems.

• Working knowledge of Redis or other in-memory caching technologies.

• Microsoft Certifications such as:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert

  • DevOps Engineer Expert

  • .NET Developer Associate
