Position Details

  • CRITERIA (one fo the following)

  • 60 semester credit hours

  • Associate’s degree or higher

  • ETS Parapro Assessment

  • SAT score of 480 oftheevidence-based reading and writing section and 530 on the mathematics section

  • Professional Readiness Exam (Pre-MTTC)

  • Basic Skills Test (BST-MTTC)

  • Must meet physical requirements

  • Must meet general qualifications of a paraprofessional

  • Must have experience working with special education students

  • Must function as part of a multi-disciplinary team in meeting physical and emotional needs of special education children in a highly structured setting.

  • Familiarity with evidences based and best practices working with students with ASD

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must fulfill “Highly Qualified” Federal requirements, and all State and Federal standard...
