Overview
The Part Time Benefits Assistant will assist the Benefits Department with the day-to-day administration of health and welfare benefits, 401(k) and pension.
Responsibilities
Assists with administering the Company’s health and welfare, 401(k) and pension plans. Answers questions and resolves problems as needed Tracks health and welfare and benefit enrollments of newly eligible employees Assists with the COBRA administration Assists with monitoring retiree death audits; updates records and notifies TPAs as necessary. Researches missing participants for the retirement savings and pension plans. Conducts addresses searches as needed. Creates and coordinates distribution of required communications regarding health and welfare and 401(k) plans. Backs up the Human Resources Assistant with payroll processing and other daily responsibilities
