Job Description
The Department of Geography and Environment at Mount Allison University invites applications for a stipendiary (part-time) teaching position to teach “Global Environmental Change” (GENS 3491), a 3rd year undergraduate course. This course examines the major global changes influencing earth's atmosphere, hydrosphere (including cryosphere), lithosphere, and biosphere. Causes and impacts of a variety of global change issues are investigated and potential solutions are introduced. Learning activities also explore how scientific information about global change are communicated across diverse platforms to stakeholders. The class is scheduled for the 2026 spring/summer term (May-June). The course is listed as synchronous on-line and is scheduled for MTTH 9:30-11:00 from May 4 to June 19, 2026. Payment will be per student completing the course, and an additional course creation fee to facilitate setting up and developing materials for the class.
