Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (12/hrs per week) Wage: $32.84 per hour; as per the collective agreement

Summary

Axis is currently recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses for our holistic, community-based Withdrawal Management Program in Castlegar, BC. We are a small team who work closely together to offer a welcoming, safe, caring, culturally relevant, and non-judgmental climate for individuals taking their first steps towards substance misuse recovery. Axis provides a positive working environment utilizing a person-centered approach to meet the specific needs of each individual. This role is best suited for empathetic Licensed Practical Nurses with a keen interest in a harm reduction approach.

All services offered in the program are evidence-based and client-directed to focus on building strength and resiliency in the person served. Services include recovery planning, regular monitoring of withdrawal symptoms, medication management, peer support,...
