Part-Time Payroll Specialist (W-2 & 1099 | ~5 Hours/Week)
Job Description
We are a small and growing US-based company looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support our payroll operations on a part-time basis (approximately 5 hours per week).
This role is execution-focused and ideal for someone who is experienced with US payroll processing and enjoys working independently with clear procedures.
Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly / semi-monthly payroll for W-2 employees

• Support 1099 contractor payments and year-end 1099-NEC preparation

• Collect and maintain employee payroll documents (W-4, W-9, onboarding forms)

• Track and verify employee timesheets / work hours

• Answer basic employee questions related to payroll, hours, and payroll forms via email

• Enter payroll-related data into QuickBooks Online
