Part-Time Shuttle Operator

:Summary:
The Part-Time Shuttle Operator operates a 30,35,40 foot or larger commercial transit bus or any other University owned or leased vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the U.S. Dept. of Transportation (USDOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) with specific instructions without detailed or continuous supervision incurring additional responsibilities as needed. This position reports directly to the Supervisor of Shuttle Operations. This position exercises duties with minimal supervision and is required to maintain awareness of USDOT regulation. Additionally, this position possesses an awareness of the Americans with Disabilities Act and its implications in the transit industry. The Part-Time Shuttle Operator has a working knowledge of the operation and functions of specialized equipment (i.e. handicapped lifts, air brake systems, emergency equipment, etc.).Essential Functions:
