YOUR NEW ROLE

As the firm’s key & sole front-end construction law partner in Sydney (and an integral part of an outstanding national construction/projects team), you will delight in:

• The autonomy & ownership of your own practice (advising, analysing risks, negotiating and drafting all necessary legal documents relating to procurement, structuring, financing, delivery, operation and management of property developments/infrastructure projects);
• The camaraderie & support of your partner and non-partner colleagues;
• Engaging in business development/marketing to further your practice/clients;
• Leading/mentoring lawyers.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

• are a seasoned Partner/ Principal who is wanting to make a change, a sole practitioner who is looking to transition back to a larger team OR an experienced ambitious Senior Associate/ Special Counsel who is looking to step up to Partner;
• have proven experience in front-end construction law (essential);
• have strong technical legal drafting & negotiation skills+ a strong commercial acumen+ ability to provide practical relevant advice;
• proven ability to lead and effectively manage client relationships;
• have an entrepreneurial spirit with experience in business development/marketing (preferably with a transferrable client base or the skills/abilities to build up a practice over time);
• are ambitious+ driven to be the best you can be (professionally/personally)+desire to lay down your roots long-term with an industry-leading firm
• are willing and able to relocate to Sydney (essential).
