Key Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and produce a wide variety of pastries desserts and bakery items.
- Design and develop new dessert menus and seasonal specials in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
- Maintain consistency in taste presentation and quality.
- Ensure proper storage handling and rotation of ingredients.
- Monitor food cost portion control and minimize wastage.
- Supervise and train pastry team members providing guidance and motivation.
- Ensure kitchen hygiene sanitation and safety standards are strictly followed.
- Stay updated with pastry trends techniques and innovations to enhance menu offerings.
- Collaborate with banquet and restaurant teams to customize dessert menus for special events.
