Job Description
Assist the Pastry Chef and Demi Chef de Partie in preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods according to hotel standards.
Ensure consistency, presentation, and taste in all pastry items served.
Follow standardized recipes, portion control, and plating guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen at all times.
Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP).
Properly store food items and assist with stock rotation and inventory control.
Support daily mise en place and service operations.
Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications
Culinary education or basic pastry training is preferred.
