Clinical Advisor — Pathologist
We are developing a medical research–backed preventive healthcare software that provides educational insights to users. We are looking for a clinician with strong experience in laboratory medicine, who is interested in collaborating with technology teams.
You will play a key role in ensuring that interpretations derived from laboratory data are clinically reasonable, safe, and responsible. This role focuses on clinical sanity, boundaries, and educational framing, not treatment or medical decision-making.

Responsibilities
• Review biomarker interpretations for clinical reasonableness and safety
• Advise on biomarker thresholds, normal ranges, and acceptable deviations
• Provide guidance on biomarker importance, interactions, and contextual relevance
• Review how multiple biomarkers relate to organ systems and body functions
• Flag unsafe, misleading, or clinically inappropriate interpretations
• Advise on edge cases, boundary conditions, and atypical lab patterns
• Collaborate with product and technical teams to maintain clinical integrity
Required Skills
• MD with specialization in Pathology or Preventive Medicine
• Strong understanding of laboratory biomarkers, reference ranges, and variability
• Knowledge of how biomarkers relate to organ health and physiological functions
• Familiarity with sex-specific and age-related considerations in lab interpretation
• Ability to reason about biomarker interactions
• Comfortable working with technology and product teams
• Strong interest in responsible, preventive healthcare applications
Important Context
• This is not a wet-lab role
• The focus is on clinical safety, plausibility, and educational framing
