Job Description


The Patient Care Specialist schedules and coordinates podiatry appointments while supporting patients throughout their care process. This role serves as the main point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compassionate experience. Position available Full-Time or Part-Time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and manage podiatry appointments via phone, email, text, and online platforms.
  • Confirm, reschedule, and follow up on patient visits.
  • Provide information about services, requirements, and clinic policies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in EMR/CRM systems.
  • Act as liaison between patients and clinics, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Escalate clinical or administrative issues when needed.
  • Help reduce no‑shows and support patient retention metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA at all times.
