Job Description
The Patient Care Specialist schedules and coordinates podiatry appointments while supporting patients throughout their care process. This role serves as the main point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compassionate experience. Position available Full-Time or Part-Time.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage podiatry appointments via phone, email, text, and online platforms.
- Confirm, reschedule, and follow up on patient visits.
- Provide information about services, requirements, and clinic policies.
- Maintain accurate patient records in EMR/CRM systems.
- Act as liaison between patients and clinics, addressing questions and concerns.
- Escalate clinical or administrative issues when needed.
- Help reduce no‑shows and support patient retention metrics.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA at all times.
