Job Description Job Description What You'll Do Machine new foundry patterns and core boxes using manual equipment (lathe, milling machines, etc.). Set up and operate CNC machining equipment . Repair and modify existing tooling to ensure optimal performance. Support tooling needs for injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion processes. Build fixtures and machining components for multiple departments. Assemble pattern sections using hand tools, fasteners, adhesives, or welding. Conduct pattern changeovers and ensure equipment readiness for production. Finish patterns using grinders, files, and other finishing tools. Design and create templates, patterns, or core boxes from blueprints, samples, or mockups. Mark and label patterns for identification and traceability. Read blueprints and drawings, calculate dimensions, and plan machining steps. Verify all dimensions using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
