Payment Analyst

As a Payment Risk Analyst I, you will help protect the company from payment fraud and financial risk. You will review customer accounts, investigate suspicious transactions, and support efforts to improve fraud prevention processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a passion for identifying and stopping fraud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and investigate escalated customer accounts related to payment fraud (such as chargebacks, ACH returns, and wire disputes).
• Analyze fraud trends and patterns and share insights with the Payments Risk team.
• Provide feedback on fraud rules and risk logic to improve detection processes.
• Identify workflow issues and suggest improvements to increase efficiency.
• Help create and update review processes and documentation.
• Maintain high performance standards and set a positive example for the team.
