Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)
We are looking for an experienced Payments Specialist to join our Middle Office Operations team. In this role you will be responsible for managing and optimizing an organization's payment processes. You will ensure that transactions are processed efficiently, accurately, and securely. You will ensure that domestic and international payments are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory standards. You will also collaborate with other departments to resolve payment issues and improve the overall payment experience.
Your AMINA To-Do List
· Process client originated payments in core banking and other payments applications.
· Handle and process SWIFT MT103, MT202, MT210 messages for international payments.
· Ensure accurate and timely execution of SWIFT payment transactions.
· Verify and validate payment instructions in compliance with banking standards.
· Process nostro payments related to liquidity management.
· Investigate and resolve discrepancies and issues related to SWIFT payments.
· Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address payment failures or disputes.
· Maintain and optimize SWIFT payment systems and tools.
· Work with IT and finance teams to implement new technologies and solutions for payment processing.
· Ensure payment systems comply with SWIFT standards and regulatory requirements.
Your golden ticket to the AMINA team:
· Graduate or post graduate with minimum 5 years of experience.
· Experience with SWIFT (at least MT 103, MT 202, MT210) & international payment conventions &
· Willingness to work in a small fast paced organization/team.
· An acute client focus.
· Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
· Good Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally or externally and at all levels and should be a team player.
· Excellent written & oral communication skills in English.
