Job Description

The Payroll Accountant plays a crucial role in assisting with maintaining the financial health and integrity of the company.
Payroll Reporting:
- Adhere to accounting standards and regulations.
- Generate payroll reporting for management and external stakeholders.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget variances and provide analysis.
Internal Controls:
- Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Participate in periodic internal audits to ensure compliance.
Payroll:
- Support accurate processing of bi-weekly or weekly payroll.
- Ensure payroll taxes are compliant.
- Participate and/or lead any payroll processing software or system upgrades.
- Ensure alignment with payroll and accounting systems regarding GL transactions.
Month-End & Year-End Closing:
- Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary payroll information.
