Payroll & Accounting Officer

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple companies.

Communicate with clients to collect and verify payroll information.

Maintain and update accurate payroll records.

Calculate and process termination payments, salary increases, and back pays.

Submit statutory returns, including IR7 and IR63.

Register companies and individuals with Tax and Social Insurance Departments, including Ergani.

Assist the Payroll Manager with month-end payroll consolidation and reporting.

Ensure accurate calculation of payroll taxes, income tax, and social insurance contributions.

Ensure compliance with payroll-related laws and reporting deadlines.

Record day-to-day accounting transactions accurately.

Maintain complete and organized accounting records and supporting documentation.

Reconcile bank statements, customer, and supplier accounts on a monthly basis.

Manage accounts receivable and payable; ensure timely processing of supplier invoices.

Assist with daily banking tasks and update cash flow records.

Support general bookkeeping and accounting functions as assigned.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2- 3 years of relevant work experience

Good knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Premier Payroll Software)

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
