Overview

Permanent opportunity to join this small, friendly team in a payroll-focused role with additional accounts responsibilities. This is a permanent, full-time position based in the inner west of Sydney. Reporting to the Finance Manager, approximately half of your role will be to take responsibility for the end-to-end Payroll for circa 250 staff. The other half will be assisting with day-to-day accounts work.

Responsibilities

  • Weekly payroll for approx. 250 staff
  • Prepare and lodge payroll taxes
  • (PAYG) withholding tax and superannuation contributions
  • Assist in the integration and implementation of new payroll systems/upgrades
  • Deal with all payroll-related inquiries
  • Month-end reconciliations
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Payroll Officer
  • Ability to work in a developing environment, implementing new processes and procedures
